Coatings Removal

Industrial coatings, epoxy, mastic, and adhesive removal using mechanical, chemical, and abrasive methods.

Overview

What this service covers

Substrate preparation is the foundation of any successful recoating or rehabilitation project. We remove industrial coatings, epoxies, mastics, and adhesives from concrete, steel, and masonry using the right method for the substrate — without compromising surrounding materials, occupants, or schedules.

What we do

  • Mechanical scarification, shot blasting, and grinding
  • Ultra-high pressure water blasting
  • Chemical stripping of epoxy, urethane, and intumescent coatings
  • Mastic and adhesive removal from concrete and wood substrates
  • Vacuum-shrouded tooling for HEPA-filtered dust capture
  • Lead-safe and silica-compliant work practices
  • Surface profile achievement to SSPC/ICRI standards
  • Substrate documentation and recoating handoff
